  1. Try to contact the individual company you are interested.
  2. Contact their investor relations department and ask if they have a Direct Stock Purchase Plan.
  3. Here's a list of the companies that will allow you to do that: http://www.wall-street.com/directlist.html
  4. You can not buy Sirius without a broker. They do not have a direct purchase plan, so you can not buy direct from the company. Thus a broker is your "only" option if you want to buy SIRI. Stock is originally sold by a company in an IPO (initial public offering). After that it is traded by the various owners. A broker acts as an agent to facilitate those trades. He may also be a stock holder and thus buy or sell himself. But after the IPO is over you must use a broker if you want to trade stock. Unless the company has a direct purchase plan. Sirius does not.
  5. In most cases you can not buy directly from the company. You will have to find a share holder who wants to sell and do your own private deal. It is a hell of a job and I do not know why you want to do it the hard way.
  6. Most large companies sell directly to the public, avoiding the broker. You'd have to get in touch with companies you are interested in. By the way, I'd look for a better investment than Sirius.
  7. You can buy the stock directly from Sirius in this case. Keep in mind not all public companies sell their own stocks to the general public. You need to call their Investor Relations Department and ask them if they can sell you directly. Some companies will say Yes and some companies will say No.
